The newly refurbished 17th Century Inn, overlooking the Torridge Estuary in the quaint fishing village of Appledore, famous for its narrow cobbled streets, ship building, gig racing, and book fairs. Located on the Quay at Appledore, you can watch the sun go down from our New Terrace seating and walled garden.
Excellent food is served from Midday to 2.30pm and 6pm to 9pm. As you would expect from a quayside inn, fresh fish plays an important role in our menus and the constantly changing daily fish specials board reflects this. The full menu is available throughout the inn and on the front and rear terraces, overlooking the estuary.
Like any good West Country Inn we are proud of our draught real ales (four), draught ciders (two) and wine selection which includes 10 wines by the glass and a Reserve List of high quality wines by the bottle at affordable prices. Along with tea, coffee and hot chocolate to hit the spot after a winters walk.
